If you are likely to miss more than 3 rehearsals you should speak directly to Paul and be aware that you may not be able to perform in the concert.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We will commence rehearsing for our Spring concert on Thursday 12th January, 2023.<br \/>\nMusic:<br \/>\nFaure&#8217;s Requiem (Novello edition edited by Desmond Ratcliffe)<br \/>\nBenjamin Britten&#8217;s Te Deum in C<br \/>\nJames MacMillan&#8217;s Who Shall Separate Us<br \/>\n(The Britten and MacMillan are in the HHCOS library and will be lent with a refundable deposit of \u00a35)<\/p>\n<p>The concerts will be slightly different this year as we plan to perform the works in the Chapel rather than the hall so we will be doing 3 performances which have provisionally been set for Thursday 30th March and Saturday April 1st (2 performances).<\/p>\n<p>We are actively trying to attract new members (especially men!), so feel free to bring a friend along.<\/p>\n<p>Please contact performancecommittee@hhcos.org.uk if you have any questions.[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Note &#8211; times of rehearsals are not as below until COVID mitigation measures have been lifted.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Unless otherwise stated in the Rehearsal Schedule, rehearsals are held in Peatyards from <strong>7.30pm until 9.30pm\u00a0<\/strong>on Thursday evenings.<\/li>\n<li>Rehearsals start promptly. Please be in your seat and ready to sing at 7.30.<\/li>\n<li>If you arrive late please enter through the kitchen so as not to disturb the rehearsal and take a seat at the back. You may move to a more suitable seat at the interval. Please bring your music, a pencil, and a mug for tea break. Members are asked to make a donation for refreshments (minimum 50p).<\/li>\n<li>Please be respectful of others and <strong>do not chatter during\u00a0<\/strong><strong style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">rehearsals!<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>In order to maintain the high standards of performance expected of HHCOS <strong>regular\u00a0<\/strong><strong style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">attendance at rehearsals is necessary.\u00a0<\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\"> If you know that you have to miss several\u00a0<\/span>rehearsals, please discuss this with the Musical Director.
