Celebrating 80 Years of Choral Singing at Haddo
Saturday 26th September @ Haddo House
HHCOS has been presenting high-quality concerts in the local community for 80 years. In recognition of this milestone, we celebrate our rich heritage of opera and oratorio performances with a special anniversary concert.
The programme will feature much-loved excerpts from Bizet’s Carmen and Mendelssohn’s Elijah, performed with the Haddo Orchestra and professional soloists (to be announced). The concert will be conducted by Musical Director Gordon Jack.
Join us for an evening that honours our past while continuing our tradition of ambitious and inspiring choral music-making.
HHCOS approaches their 80th anniversary concert.
Around 80 years ago June and David Gordon founded Haddo House Choral Operatic society after the second world war. Since then we have only changed and grown and get to celebrate such a momentous moment with you all.
As such, we would like to formally invite all previous members of HHCOS to come and join us once again as a way to celebrate how far we have come.
Please get in contact if you are interested.
